We're In The Final Stretch

Wow.

Who would have thought it would take this long just to put together a sample proposal. Sheesh.

Ran into a major snag with the colorist on this project. There was a big to do on whether to go RGB or CMYK. The colorist had gone RGB and it was decided that CMYK would be the better deal. So he had to recolor the pages. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then don't worry. I didn't either and it's not all that important I found out later.

Last week I received the new colored pages. Now it's a matter of getting them to my letterer. I was trying out this online storage area and I found that it's just way to slow for me or my DSL upload speed is lame. Or both. But the reasoning behind it was so the pages could be uploaded and everyone could simply go and download the pages as they were being done. But I'm a day late and a dollar short on this because the letterer is the last link in the chain. But it's good to have for future reference or other projects.

This was definitely a good learning experience and it gave me an opportunity to edit the synopsis which I will post as soon as the letterer is finished. Look for the final product soon.
